The Death's Head Hawkmoth

Sculpture

Death's Head Moth.

More than 40% of insect species are declining and a third are endangered.

They are essential to our ecosystems as food for other creatures, to control pests, pollinators of the majority of plant species, recyclers of nutrients and help keep soil healthy.

The impact they have on us is immense.

Mixed media with paper, acrylic paint and wire.
