I was commissioned by the wonderful Victoria Gaiger to create a secret garden of giant paper flowers for the Creed ‘Spring Flower’campaign, shot by Jason Hetherington.
We started with paper flower craft books to learn the basics, then scaled them up and crafted them from crepe paper and spray paint.
Masking tape, wire, feathers and pins helped create this lovely dandelion.
Grace Cain and our brilliant team spent 3 days bringing these oversized blooms to life.
I painted a series of watercolours which I then photographed to be enlarged and used as backgrounds for the sets.
It was one of the most fun and creatively projects I’ve worked on in a long time.
